Can I change or cancel my order after purchasing?
We are unable to make any item changes to an order after it has been placed. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service at support@breatheenlight.com within 24 hours of your purchase to cancel. We are unable to cancel an order that has already shipped from our facility.
Am I able to return my order if I do not like the scent?
Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. You must contact our customer service at support@breatheenlight.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
What are the next steps if my order arrives damaged?
If your package arrives damaged, please send a photo of your damaged item and your order number to our customer service at support@breatheenlight.com. We will replace your damaged items as soon as possible!
Shipping
Do you offer a local pick-up/local delivery service for local customers?
Local customers can order ahead of time and pick up their order during our market hours or on the Westbank of New Orleans. Once your order is placed for local pick-up, a member of our team will reach out within 48 hours with further local pick up instructions. We only hold pick up orders for 10 days after you receive your ready for pickup instructions.
We offer local delivery during the holiday season only. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified once we begin holiday local delivery.
Do you offer free shipping?
Free shipping is available for all domestic orders over $100.
How do I edit my shipping address?
Our team is only able to edit shipping addresses within 24 hours of your order. Please e-mail customer service at support@breatheenlight.com.
If your order has already been shipped, please contact the shipping carrier to update your shipping information or to request your package be delivered to an access point or a pick up location near you.
Breathe Enlight Apothecary is not responsible for any lost packages due to incorrect shipping addresses. We thank you for understanding!
When will my order ship?
Each order is handcrafted exclusively for you. Please allow 3-7 business days for your order to and ship. Processing times may vary depending on the time of year or our current workload. We are a small business with a very limited team that intentionally produces and ships all products. We appreciate your patience and support in helping our small business grow!
Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information to the email address you provided at the time of checkout. Transit time depends on carries and your distance from our shipping location in Louisiana. Transit times are on average, 2-5 business days.

Where do you ship?
Breathe Enlight ships to all 50 U.S. states and internationally. Please allow an additional 2-3 week transit time for all international orders. Breathe Enlight Apothecary is not responsible for any taxes, tariffs, customs duties, or additional fees associated with packages once shipped from our shipping location in Louisiana.
My tracking number has not been updated. Where is my package?
Please allow 48 hours for all tracking updates. Sometimes a package may move within a carrier system without any update until the day of delivery. If you have not received your order within 5 days please contact the shipping carrier.
Once a package leaves our facility, it may experience delays that only the shipping carrier has knowledge of.
If your order shows as delivered but you have not received it, mail carriers often mark the package as delivered prior to actually delivering the package. If you have not received your order within 48 hours of the delivered date, please contact your local shipping carrier to locate your package. If further assistance is needed after the above steps, please contact our customer service at support@breatheenlight.com

What wax is used in your candles?
All of our candles are made with 100% soy wax for a slower, cleaner burn.
What type of fragrances are used in your products?
Breathe Enlight candles are made with natural and man made fragrance oils. Essential oils are infused in many of our fragrances. Our team only sources clean scent fragrance oils that are phthalate free.
All body products are infused with premium grade essential oils.
Why do you not use essential oils in your candles?
Our goal is to offer affordable and accessible quality self care products. Using natural fragrance oils instead of essential oils allows us to produce our product more sustainably, offer affordable pricing, and blend complex highly scented fragrances.
Do you test on animals?
No, we do not test on animals.
How do I burn my candles safely?
To safely make the most of your candle:
Trim the wick to ¼” each time before lighting.
Do not burn candles for longer than 4 hours at a time. Burning a candle longer than 4 hours may cause the candle to burn hotter and faster than average.
On your first candle burn, allow your candle to burn for at least two hours to avoid candle tunneling.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Always burn your candle on a heat resistant and nonflammable surface.
Never burn your candles in close proximity to flammable objects.
Never leave your candle burning unattended.
Do you offer online gift cards?
Yes we offer online gift cards for $25, $50, $75 and $100. Gift cards are only valid on purchases made on breatheenlight.com. Online gift cards are not eligible for in person purchases. Gift cards may be purchased here.
Does BE offer payment plans?
Payment plans are available to eligible customers through Shop Pay and Klarna.

Yes! We love collaborating to make moments through gift giving. We are accepting wedding, event, gift, corporate orders, or collaborations. Send an inquiry here.
Candle Classes
How can I take a candle making class?
We offer our candle making experience year round. New class dates will be added monthly. Candle classes sell out pretty quickly due to limited seating. If you’d like to be notified about new candle classes, subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop!
Can I book a private candle class for a girls night, birthday party, etc?
Of course! We’d love to assist in creating your memorable night with friends and family. Private, mobile classes are available for any size party. Please inquire at here or by emailing support@breatheenlight.com.
